Policy for Institutional Scholarship
Loyola College of Education, a unit of Sikkim Jesuit Society offers Scholarship for the students who are from economically poor background but excellent in studies. The source of Fund is mainly the contributions of Teaching Faculty and Students. However donations are accepted towards Institutional Scholarship Fund.
Guidelines for availing Institutional Scholarship
- There is no concession in the 1st Installment of Fees. .
- Students from Economically Weaker Sections may apply for scholarship during the first month of the first semester. The number of scholarships depends on the availability of scholarship fund. The scholarship is semester wise depending on the academic performance of the students. Since the college is a private and self-financed, concession is at the discretion of the Institutional Scholarship Committee.
- The current students of B.Ed. & M.A. programmes are eligible to apply .
- Family Income (Annual) should be within 2.5 lakhs. Income Certificate will be acceptable only if it is Issues by the B.D.O. in rural/Executive Officer of the respective Municipality. .
- Students must score above 80% of marks in the last semester examination. Self-attested copy of the same must be produced with the form.
- Brief report (with documentary Proof) of involvement in volunteering different self-less service activities to be submitted with the form.
- Final selection of the eligible candidates will be based on Interview of both Parents and Students. .
- Complete form with all necessary documents should be submitted to Fr. Principal.
